 James Hipp is a Connecticut Native, born and raised in New Milford. He is currently the owner of Hipp Improvements LLC which has been in business for 15 years. Projects range from full renovations to custom decks, focusing on the details that make the projects special. He is also co owner of Hipp Homes LLC a company solely focused on the construction of new homes. Jim’s life has given him extensive experience in all facets of the building process. Starting at the age of 11, he was immersed in the building of a local church, learning, by doing footings, foundations, framing, timbers, trim and time. That time then led to framing of over 100 houses from 18 to 28, before starting a company of his own Hipp Improvements LLC. in 2006. He moved to New York City, shortly after to work at Tom Carroll Scenery in Jersey City building high end sets for off broadway shows, operas and traveling broadway shows. He then moved on to work for Sudden Impact entertainment traveling to places such as Mexico City, Mexico, Montreal,Canada, as well as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia managing the work force and building of massive interactive haunted attractions.
